Last year, I immersed myself in the fantastic process of embroidery. I was inspired by punk, stencils, Frida Kahlo, and my own illustrations.
I really loved the creative process of embroidery. I love the sound of the needle when it makes contact with the fabric; it sounds magical to me.
Because you can carry the embroidery hoop everywhere, I called this serie "The Traveling Embroideries." They were made between continents, offices, airplanes, beach homes, in the city, and finally, at my house.
Some of them were sold at an independent designer's store in Chile, Corazon Bordado (Embroidered Heart), and the rest are finding their purpose.
