Women Artists Biographical Boxes

Ongoing series of  Women In The Arts and Letters Biographical Boxes,  directly inspired by Women’s History Month, the hashtag #5WomenArtist, and my fascination with Mexican Folk Art, specifically offering boxes. This series is intended to honor the women artists I admired who have contributed to the arts and letters and my own creative practice throughout my life. Each biographical box is conceived as a visual biography. It is decorated with a ceramic heart inside a glass and key personal elements that characterized their lives, which now symbolically accompany them in death.
